What is Transpersonal Therapy

Transpersonal therapy is an approach to psychotherapy that recognises we are more than just our thoughts, behaviours or life circumstances. It looks at the whole person, mind, emotions, body and the deeper sense of self that exists beneath our everyday experience.

In many forms of therapy, the focus is often on understanding patterns, past experiences or behaviours. While these are important, transpersonal therapy also gently explores the deeper questions of meaning, identity and connection that can arise throughout life. It acknowledges that periods of struggle, uncertainty or transition can sometimes be invitations to grow into a fuller and more authentic version of ourselves.

In my work, transpersonal therapy creates space to explore not only what has happened in your life, but also who you are becoming. It recognises that within each person there is an inner wisdom, a quiet knowing that can guide healing, clarity and transformation when given the space to emerge.

This approach also considers our consciousness, the way we experience ourselves, others and the world around us. Sometimes in life we can feel disconnected from ourselves, as though we have lost touch with something deeper inside.

 

Transpersonal therapy gently supports people in reconnecting with that deeper aspect of themselves and ultimately about coming home to yourself with greater awareness, acceptance and a deeper understanding to your own inner truth.

My Approach to Transpersonal Therapy

I believe that meaningful healing begins when we take the whole person into account. Not just the mind, but the body, emotions and the deeper parts of our inner life.

In my experience, everything is connected. Our experiences, beliefs and sense of meaning all shape how we move through the world. Transpersonal therapy offers a way of gently exploring these layers, allowing a deeper understanding to emerge over time.

Through this work, I support you in reconnecting with your own inner strengths, resilience and natural capacity for growth.

 

My approach is compassionate and centred around you, creating a space where you can explore your experiences in a safe and non-judgemental environment, while opening to new perspectives and possibilities.

Each session is guided by what you need and what feels important to you, with the intention of helping you develop greater self-awareness, clarity and a more connected relationship with yourself and your life.
